Mrs. Jackie Louise Sprinkles age 81 of London, KY, departed this life on Monday night - November 7th, 2011 at her home. She was the widow of Carnell Charles Sprinkles. She was born in Raleigh N.C. on August 12th, 1930 to the late Jacob & Bertha ( Burchett) Sterling of N.C.
Jackie was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, and a former factory worker for Lawson furniture and Warners she enjoyed crossword puzzles, and crocheting
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one infant son David Wayne Sprinkles, and one brother J.W.T. Sterling.
Left behind to mourn her passing is one son Carlos Sprinkles of Barbourville, KY, two daughters Gail Wombles & husband Dewey of London, KY, and Linda Davis & husband Hobert of Gray, KY, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sprinkles will be conducted on Friday- November 11th, 2011 @ 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mann Cobb & Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson officiating. Pallbearers will be Sonny Robbins, Jodi Gallimore, Steven Wombles, Adam Sprinkles, Chris Sprinkles, and Logan Barton. Burial will follow in the Tuggle Cemetery at Heidrick. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
