Hugh Bobby Miller

Mr. Hugh "Bobby" Miller, age 78, of Barbourville, departed this life on Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was the Husband of the late Mary Howell Miller and the son of the late Isaac and Gracie Jones Miller born to them on September 2, 1935. In addition to his Wife and parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters Betty Miller Drury and Mae Miller Dye. Hugh was a former school bus driver and Mechanic, a member of the Free Spirit Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include two sons; Ronnie Gene Miller and wife Rhonda of Barbourville and Daryl Derek Miller and wife Crystal of Gray, Ky. two Daughters, Debra Sharon Miller Phipps of London Ky and Hilda Sue Miller Burnette and husband Elmer of Gray, Ky. One brother Bill Miller and wife Mary of Florence Ky, three sisters Barbara Sasser and husband Leon of London Kentucky, Francis Vaughn and husband Glen of Barbourville Kentucky and Mossie Bargo and husband Willard of Barbourville Kentucky. 10 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren and a host of other Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends left to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Hugh Miller will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton funeral home on Tuesday November 12, 2013 at 12 noon with the Rev. Roger Liford and Rev. Columbus Hensley officiating. Interment will be in the Hammons cemetery at Greenroad where he will be laid to rest by his wife Mary. Pallbearers will be Matthew Phipps, Christopher Burnette, Calleb Burnette, Cody Miller, Colm McArdle and Josh Mobley.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday November 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until the hour of service at noon.
