Mr. Hobert Gene Robinson age 65 of Powers Branch Rd., Bryant Store departed this life on Monday, June 23, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Debbie(Powers) Robinson and the son of Ernest and Edna (Jordan) Robinson born to them on September 23, 1948 in Knox Co.
Mr. Robinson was a retired concrete contractor. He was a member of Grassy Run Baptist Church in Grant Co.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Edna Robinson, and one sister Patty Bunch.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Debbie of Bryant Store, one son, Joseph Robinson of Crittenden, KY and two daughters, Becky Mohnick of Corinth, KY and Vicky Robinson of Covington, KY, one brother, J.M. Robinson of Pendleton, KY and one sister, Emma Ashley of Florence, KY. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three step grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Denvil Taylor and Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating. Pallbearers will be Tyler and Logan Robinson, Dalton Mohnick, Raymond Nester, Jeremy Sandlin and Justin Givens. Honorary pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Killion Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
