Reverend Hobert Bingham, age 68, of Bimble, passed away Friday March 2, 2012 at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin. He was born on March 27, 1943 to the late McCreary "Bud" and Norma Osborne Bingham. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Marcum Bingham on May 22, 1964 in Hart, Georgia. Hobert was a retired sawmill operator and a Holiness preacher for 25 years. Hobert enjoyed fishing and hunting but he most loved preaching and talking about the lord.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons Christopher Nathaniel Bingham and his wife Robyn of Corbin, and John McCreary Bingham and his wife Sheri of Gray, two daughters Norma Loann Rose and her husband Don of Barbourville, and Angela Marie Vaughn and her husband Marty of Woolum. Hobert is also survived by one brother Don Bingham and his wife Erma of Barbourville and one sister in law Janice Bingham of Bimble. Hobart was survived by the following Grandchildren Kristy, Garrett, Barbie, Michaela, Cheyenne, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Miranda, and Addison, and great grandchildren Hannah, Andrew, and Lindsey.
Besides his parents Hobart was preceded in death by one brother Arnold Bubby Bingham and one daughter in law Shannon Bingham.
Funeral services for Hobart Bingham will be conducted at 1PM Tuesday at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Marcum, David Burgess, and Pat Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Binghamtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary Burgess, Don Hayes Hammons, Brandon Bingham, Jaxon Hammons; Bob Marcum, and Eddie Collins, Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Vaughn, Nathaniel Bingham, and John Nicholas Bingham
