Mr. Henry C. Lawson, age 68, of Hinkle, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in the Knox County Hospital. He was born in Knox County on March 22, 1944. Henry was the son of the late Charlie Lee Lawson and Belle Smith Adams.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Joe Dee Lawson, Orangie Lawson, Franklin Lawson, Earl Lee Lawson, James Ed Lawson, Henry Clad Lawson, his sisters, Shirley Combs, Vickie Lynn Shelton, Bonnie Jean Lawson, and Genople Hubbard. He is survived by his wife Alma lawson and by seven brothers, Tommy Lawson and wife Sue, Darrell Dee Lawson and wife Oma Lue, Kenith Lee Lawson and wife Alice, Jessie Lawson and wife Anna, Lowell Dean Lawson and wife Lisa, Larry David Lawson and wife Juanita, and T. J. Lawson and wife Monvan, and two sisters, Brenda Lou Marian and husband Benny, and Mary Juanita Bonkes and husbandTimothy, and one very special uncle, Earl Warren of Himyar, KY. Mr. Lawson also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry C. Lawson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 21, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Warren and Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Lawson will be laid to rest in the Martin-Mooneyhan-Patterson Cemetery at Bimble, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
