Hazel Helton

Mrs. Hazel Helton age 90 of Gray, KY departed this life on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Dan Helton and the daughter of Jacob Foley and Ellen (Lowe) Foley born to them on April 4, 1920 in Knox Co. Mrs. Helton was a homemaker and a member of the Paint Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Ellen Foley, her husband Dan Helton, one son, Carlyle Foley, five brothers, Joe, Luke, Will, Charlie and Sam Foley and five sisters, Ada Helton, Margaret Foley, Belle Foley, Jettie Miller and Jessie Crawford.
Left behind to mourn her passing is two daughters, Bertha Walters and husband Bobby of Barbourville and Lois Helton of Gray, one brother, Jake Foley and wife Imogene of Barbourville, one granddaughter, Teresa Leath and two great grandchildren Alisha Leath and Bryan Leath.
Funeral services for Mrs. Helton will be conducted on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Merida officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will be in the Foley Cemetery at Smokey. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m.
