Mrs. Hazel Alice Christianson age 85 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Thursday, June 21, 2012 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. She was the widow of Roland Christianson and the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Bolton) Alford. She was born in Knox Co. on January 22, 1927.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents and one brother Albert Clay Alford.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Przepiora and husband Jim of Corbin and Janice Stephenson and husband David also of Corbin, one brother John Alford and wife Lois of Corbin, grandchildren Brian, Shawnna, James, William, Carl, Charlotte and Rebecca and great grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Brittany, Steven, Shawn, Kaitlyn, Kasey, Megan, Tony, Karen and Casey. Mrs. Christianson also leaves behind a host of other realtives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Christianson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2:00 p. with Rev. James Vandy officiating. Pallbearers will be family. Burial will follow in the Burch Alford Cemetery at Artemus. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
