Haskell Mills

Mr. Haskell Tye Mills age 57 of Flat Lick, KY passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the Arvil James Mills & Mattie (Pillion) Mills born to them on September 30th, 1952 in Bell Co., KY. On December 22, 1972 he united in marriage with Sharon Hobbs and to this union two children were born.
Mr. Mills was a member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church. He was a farmer and enjoyed traveling, watching T.V. , playing with his dog, and spending time with his grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arvil & Mattie Mills, his daughter Mattie Mills, one brother Ronnie Mills, and two sisters Betty Baker, and Peggy Fredrick.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife of 37 years, Sharon Mills of Flat Lick, KY, one son Haskel Mills, Jr. & wife Veronica of Barbourville, KY, one brother Danny Mills of Flat Lick, KY, two sisters Debbie Reel & husband Robert of Barbourville, KY, and Elaine Hensley of Flat Lick KY, one grandson Zackery Mills, two step grandchildren Renee’ Hensley, and Samantha Miracle, one step great grandchild Ethen James Hensley. Mr. Mills also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Mills will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Reed Murphy, Rev. Mike Collins, and Rev. Donnie Vaughn officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
