Haskel Jones

Mr. Haskel "Hack" Jones, age 73 of Gray, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. He was the husband of Tina Jones, and the son of the late Harvey & Ona (Wells) Jones of Knox County born to them on April, 9, 1938.
Mr. Jones was a former Masonry and construction worker, he believed in the Baptist faith and attended the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Marlene Roberts, two brothers Harvey Perry Jones, Jr and Lonnice Jones.
Left behind to mourn his passing is wife Tina Jones, three sons Johnny Jones, and Haskel Jones, Jr & wife Glenda all of Gray, KY and Carl Gene Mills & wife Sherry of London, KY, one brother Gerald Jones & wife Mildred of Barbourville, KY, two sisters Corean Elliott of Lynn Camp and Wanda Bargo & husband Tilmon of Gray, eight grandchildren Brandon, Amanda, Chas, Michael, Ashley, Chrystal, Stephanie, and Jennifer, thirteen great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted on Saturday, January 28th, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lonnie Collett & Rev. Les Ellison officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery at Gray. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
