Mr. Harold Lee Rhodes, age 53 of the Cannon community, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of James and Georgia Garland Rhodes, born to them on April 5, 1961 in Barbourville. Mr. Rhodes was a self-employed mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his biological mother, Wanda Bowling.
He is survived by his son, Austin Rhodes of the Cannon community; his daughter, Kesha Rhodes of Corbin; four brothers Paul Rhodes (Donna) of the Cannon Community, Edgar Bowling of Akron Ohio, James Luther Bowling of the Cannon community, and Rodger Rhodes of Elkhart, Indiana; two sisters, Melissa Bowling of Girdler and Rita Brown (Rodger) of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by his best friends, Wayne Abner of the Cannon community, Kevin Burnette of Williamsburg and Frank Goley of the Cannon community. Mr. Rhodes leaves behind a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Harold Lee Rhodes will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. tony Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Trace Branch Cemetery at Heidrick. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements
