Harold Dewayne Liford of Hinkle, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 54 years and 23 days of age. He was the son of Mona Liford and the late Willard Liford born to them on October 12, 1962 in Pineville, Kentucky. He was the grandson of the late Charles and Mary Hubbard and the late Bennie and Edna Liford. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Teddy Dewayne Woolum. He was a member of New Girdler Holiness Church.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing his mother Mona Liford; two sisters: Linda Wynn and husband Jimmy and Lovella Woolum and husband Teddy all of Hinkle, Kentucky; two nieces: Dayna Michelle Bingham and husband Mike and Melissa Collins and husband Eric; his nephew: Tim Woolum; several great-nieces and nephews and a very special dog named Tiny.
Funeral Services for Harold Liford will be conducted on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Liford and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery at Girdler with Jimmy Wynn, Teddy Woolum, Tim Woolum, Austin Woolum, Dewayne Woolum, Derrick Woolum, Dustin Bingham and Jacob Collins serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Professional Home Health, Knox County Ambulance Service and Dr. Raju Vora.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM.
