Mr. Harold Leon Disney age 81 of Barbourville departed this life on Monday, December 10, 2018 in the Barbourville ARH. He was the husband of Anna Louise (Jones) Disney and the son of Walter J. Disney and Mae (Martin) Disney. He was born in Knox Co. on February 7, 1937. He was a member of the East Barbourville Baptist Church and was retired from the Army National Guard. Leon loved his church, he also enjoyed woodworking, reading, doing mission work and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mae Disney, three brothers, Walter Disney, Jr., Glen Disney and Willard Disney and six sisters, Francis Hammons, Lucille Messer, Evelyn Massingill, Geneva Smith, Marcella Hatfield and Beverly Jane Disney.

Those left behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife Louise Disney of Barbourville, two sons, Greg Disney and wife Sherilenna also of Barbourville and Jimmy Disney and wife Robin of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Kelli Disney, Lauren Fryrear, Austin Disney and Holli Disney, three great-grandchildren, Lauren Disney, Gracie Disney and Cole Fryrear, one brother, Frank Disney and wife Jean of Nitro, West Virginia, brothers and sisters in law, Barry and Sandy Penn and Cecil Rhodes. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Leon Disney will be conducted at the East Barbourville Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Vandy and Rev. Josh Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be, Jason Penn, Tanner Parsons, Garrett Fryrear, Austin Disney, Dennis Disney, Estil Messer and Stefan Iverson. Honorary pallbearers will be all deacons of the East Barbourville Baptist Church, the Kentucky National Guard and the 26 th Infantry of the Blue Spaders. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the East Barbourville Baptist Church on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
