Mr. Harle Crawford age 83 of Aurora, IND, formerly of Kay Jay departed this life on Monday - November 7th, 2011 in the Dearborn County Hospital in IND. He was the widower of Florena (Cecil) Crawford and the son of the late Andrew & Melie (Messer) Crawford born to them on March 7th, 1928 in Knox County.
Mr. Crawford believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.
Besides his wife & parents he was preceded in death by a young brother, and two sisters Beatrice Vanover, and Rildie Crawford.
Left behind to mourn his passing is one son Dennis Crawford & wife Aloggia of Aurora, IND, three brothers Denver Crawford of London, KY, Cecil Crawford & wife Barbara of London, KY, and Joseph Crawford & wife Cleo of Hamilton, Ohio, two sisters Gracie & husband Clyde of Dearborn, MI, and Effie Lawrence & husband David of Oneida, TN, 2 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Crawford will be conducted on Friday - November 11th, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be Harold Crawford, Dennis Crawford, Michael Cecil, Joseph Crawford, John Ravenscraft, and Mike Cecil. Burial will follow in the Lunsford Cemetery at Kay Jay. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m.
