Gracie Warren

Mrs. Gracie Warren age 99, of Barbourville passed away Thursday in the Heritage Nursing Home at Corbin, KY. She was born on November 7, 1908 in Knox County, KY to the union of the late John and Sarah Ellen Warren Baker. She was united in marriage to Otto Warren who preceded her in death. She was a Housewife and a member of Boone Height Holiness Church. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons: Anderson and Jewell Warren by one daughter: Irene Moore and three sisters Arizona Mills, Mary Taylor and Leona Miracle.
Survivors include one sister: Elsie Jones of Bell County, one brother Garrett Broughton of Dayton, Ohio, one nephew Beige Warren of Roaring Fork, KY, one niece: Sally Cox of Hinkle, KY and one very special great niece Vickie Bunch who was also her caregiver, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Warren also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Warren will be conducted on Saturday-August 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brenda Grubb and Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren-Bingham Cemetery at Roaring Fork, Ky with Lonnie Warren, Billy Wilson, Beige Warren, Edgar Sizemore, Andy Warren and Ronnie Warren serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of The Heritage Nursing Home and Dr. Whitley. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon on Saturday until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
