Golden Smith

Mr. Golden Smith age 73 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2017 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was the widow of Ivory Smith and the son of Walter Smith and Jane Slusher born to them on March 16, 1944 in Manchester, KY.

He was of the Baptist faith and had worked in a factory in Michigan for many years. His wife and parents precede him in death.

Left behind to mourn his passing, three sisters, Hazel Saisi of Rockwall, Texas, Margaret Bowens and husband Colin of Chapel Hill, TN and Kathleen Welch and husband Charles of Romulus, Michigan and one brother, Wayne David Robinson of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Golden Smith will be conducted in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He will be laid to rest in the Polly Warren Cemetery. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
