Gladys Gamble age 83 of Cannon passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her home , she was the widow of Crit Gamble and the daughter of the late Floyd & Axie Mills of Knox County born to them on September 22, 1928.
Gladys was a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church, a homemaker and a former factory worker, who loved her family very much.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her three daughters Carol Garland of Cannon, Betty Abner & husband James of Artemus, and Debbie Howell & husband Charlie of Cannon, two son Johnny Gamble of Hamilton, Ohio, and David Gamble & wife Kami of Barbourville. Eleven Grandchildren, Karen Riel & husband Wes, Chris Garland & wife Jennie, Kathy Hahn, Angie Radabaugh & husband John, Jessica Gamble, Ruby Schille, Becky Abner, Tracie Broughton & husband Jonathon, Beth Howell & fiancé Taner Myers, Ryean Gamble, and Shadys Gamble. Twelve Grandchildren, Brayden, Addison, and Jenna Riel, Knox, Lucas, and Paige Garland, Aiden and Avery Radabaugh and Alexis Abner and Elen Broughton. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gamble will be conducted on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 @ 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Morris officiating, Pallbearers will be family & friends with Burial in the Hutchinson Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 3:00 p.m.
