Geraldine Melton

Mrs. Geraldine Melton age 58 of Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of Ronald Melton and the daughter of Claude and Cora Spurlock born to them on May 18, 1951 in Clay Co., KY. She is survived by her husband, Ronald of Rocky Face, Georgia, one daughter, Joane Keen of Manchester, KY, one son, Paul Powell of Corbin, KY, four sisters, Maudine Wright of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Ethel Addis of Rocky Face, Georgia, Allie Henson and Judy Henson both of Manchester, KY, two brothers, Robert Caudill of Orlando, Florida and Alonzo Caudill of Panama City, Florida, and one half brother, Billy Spurlock of Corbin, KY. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Melton will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roe Gibson and Rev. George Payne officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery at Gray, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
