Geneva loved her children and her grandchildren and she remained involved in all their lives until the end of hers. She loved the yearly trip to the Smokey Mountains where she was surrounded by her family. She loved the log cabin, and she loved riding the trolley. Morning Would find her rocking on the front porch while the fog still lay on the land. And now after years of sickness, Geneva rests in another land, a land without pain and growing older. She now rests in the arms of God. Survivors include, one son Clark Mills, Jr. and wife Marie of Hwy 229, five daughters, Donna Fuson and husband Leamon of South Lyon, Michigan, Barbara Smith and husband Donald of Road Fork, Carolyn Smith and husband Kenneth of Hwy 229, Peggy Mills and husband Preston of Cranes Nest and Norma Lawson and husband Larry of Gray, KY, three brothers, John Henry Bays of Hwy 229, C. A. Price and wife Joanne of Middlesboro and Thomas Price and wife Emma of Chicago, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Mills will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Stewart, Andre’ Linn, Marco Ward, Preston Lee Mills and Kyle Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Knox Co. Hospital I.C. U. staff and Emergency Room staff and Dr. Raju Vora. Burial will be in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
