Mrs. Geneva Faye Garrison Gallagher, age 80 of Walker Park Rd. Barbourville departed this life on Tuesday evening, August 26, 2008 at her home. She was born on February 21, 1928 in Clay County, KY to the union of Charley and Margaret Edna Coldiron Garrison. She was united in marriage to Paul John Gallagher on July 8, 1946. She was also a retired supervisor for the Avon Corporation and a member of the Swan Pond Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul John Gallagher and her parents Charley and Margaret Edna Coldiron Garrison. Three Brothers: Hamp Garrison, Charles Garrison and Delbert Garrison. Three Sisters Dorothy Garrison Abner, Pearl Garrison Hensley and Jessie May Garrison Marcum and one son in law John Michael Witkoski.



Survivors include two daughters Paula Gallagher Mills and husband Jerry Wayne of Barbourville, KY and Margaret Gallagher Witkoski of Columbia S.C. One brother John Garrison and wife Doris of Barbourville, KY , one sister: Kattie Garrison Hensley and husband Hubert of Barbourville, KY. Seven Grandchildren Michael Allen Mills and wife Krista Adams, Paul Jeffery Mills and wife Jana Reams, Brook Scott Mills and wife Sarah Burnside, Patrick Luke Witkoski, Nicholas Scott Witkoski, Andrew Stephen Witkoski and Dana Michael Witkoski. Eight Great Grandchildren Madison Mills, Trevor Mills, Tanner Mills, Alyson Croley, Megan Mills, Braden Mills, Abram Mills and Laura Elizabeth Mills. She also leaves behind several Nieces and Nephews plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Faye Garrison Gallagher will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday-August 30, 2008 in the Swan Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayhew Cemetery with Cameron Hudson, Van Hudson, Gary West, Doug Shields, Brad Shields, Scott Partin, Jason Baker, Buck Warren and John Zgoda serving as Pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Swan Pond Baptist Church Building fund. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday at Hampton Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. at Swan Pond Baptist Church.
