Mr. Floyd Collins age 38 of Walker, KY departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Knox Co. Hospital. He was the son of Floyd Shirley Collins and Maggie (Hill) Shupe. He was born in Bell Co., KY on July 19, 1975 and had worked at Oasis Pizza in Barbourville for many years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Shirley Collins, grandparents, Pascal Lee Collins, Tina Bell Van Collins, Monroe Hill and Cledia Merida Hill.
Survivors include his mother, Maggie Hill Shupe and step father Calvin Shupe of Barbourville, one sister, Shirley Rexella Collins and the love of his life, Ann Burford and her family along with a host of many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Collins will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Leslie Broughton and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Pallbearers will be, family & friends. Burial will follow in the Van Cemetery at Coalport. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from
6:00 until 9:00 p.m., on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
