Mrs. Eunice Merida age 78 of Taylor, MI passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Virgil & Flossie (Moore) Fuson of Knox County born to them on March 30, 1933 and was the widow of Clifford Merida. Eunice was a homemaker and she was a firm believer in the Church of God.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son Del Wayne Merida, two brothers Walter Fuson and Arnold Lickliter, two sisters Lillie Mae May, and Hester May.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her son Gary Merida & wife Brenda of Heidrick, KY, two daughters Donna Sue Williams of Taylor, MI and Tracy Nadine Frasier & husband Brian of Lincoln Park, MI, three sisters Lela Marie Honeycutt of St. Ignace, MI, Billie Jo Valentine of Strawberry Plains, TN, and Betty Joyce Crook & husband Milton of Lincoln Park, MI, A brother-in-law Orville May of Russell Springs, KY, four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Merida will be conducted on Friday, March 30, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Merida, and Rev. Jack Copely officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00.
