Mrs. Ettia Ann Stacy age 92 of Girdler, Ky departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Barbourville ARH. She was born on March 20, 1925 in Knox Co. KY, the daughter of Robert Franklin Robinson and Ellen (Hicks) Robinson. She was the last surviving sibling of twelve children. She united in marriage with Clarence Norton Stacy and to this union four children were born. Ettia was a member of the Church of God. She had worked at Girdler School for twenty-nine years as a cook before retiring. She loved to garden and to spend time with her grandchildren and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ellen (Hicks) Robinson, her husband Clarence Norton Stacy, eight brothers, William, Roscoe, Fred, Clarence, Willard, Earnest and Wilson Robinson and Thomas Couch, and four sisters Ida Hutton, Dorothy Mabe, Lena Foley and Edith Alsip.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her four loving children, Gerald Stacy and wife  Nancy of Barbourville, Larry Stacy and wife Barbara of Dry Ridge, KY, Homer Stacy and wife Marilyn of Johnson City, TN and Glenda Bright of Hinkle, KY. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ettia Ann Stacy are Monday, May 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Vaughn, Reverend Corey Cobb and Reverend J.C. Stacy officiating.  Pallbearers will be Doug Bright, Norton Bright, Kyle Stacy, Gene Stacy, Chris Stacy and Phillip Anderson.  She will be laid to rest in the Stacy Cemetery at Girdler, KY.  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
