Ellen France

Ms. Ellen France age 85 of Barbourville, Ky. passed away on Thursday-July 5, 2007 at the Knox County Hospital Long-term Care Facility. She was the daughter of Thomas Knuckles and Linda Gray Knuckles born to them July 26, 1921 in Knox Co. Ky. Ms. France accepted Christ and became a Christian at home under Rev. David Stanley who is also now deceased. She was a member of the Old Time Baptist Church.
Survivors for Ms. France include three daughters: Mary Ann Howard of Flat Lick, Ky., Troy Mae Moore of Leesburg, Oh., Shirley Wilson and husband Jeff of Barbourville, Ky. One sister: Shirley Barker of Flat Lick, Ky., Four brothers: John Riley Knuckles of Harlan, Ky., Evie Knuckles and wife Onie of Corbin, Ky., Virgil Knuckles and wife Ruth of Arjay, Ky., Saul Knuckles and wife Marion or Flat Lick, Ky. Ms. France also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Ms. Franc will be conducted on Sunday-July 8, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Lawson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be all of the Doctors, Nurses and Nurses Aides at the Long Term Care Facility at Knox Co. Hospital. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery at Flat Lick, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
