Elizabeth Ledford

Mrs. Elizabeth Ledford, age 84 of Dryden, MI, formerly of Knox County passed away on Tuesday - January 31, 2012 in MI. She was the widow of Lester Ledford and the daughter of the late Henry & Martha (Helton) Cobb of Knox County born to them on February 11th, 1927.
Elizabeth was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church since 1965, and a former factory worker for American Greetings.
Besides her parents & husband she was preceded in death by three brothers Kenneth, John, and Jim Ledford, and three sisters Maudie, Effie, and Zoie.
Left behind to mourn her passing is two sons Don Ledford & wife Linda of Dryden, MI, and Terry Ledford & wife Sandy of Tyner, KY, two daughters Victoria Tarter & husband David of Mainville, Ohio, and Marlene Kollman & husband Tim of Seattle, WA, one brother Marvin Cobb & wife Phyllis of Owenton, KY, one sister Ellen Davidson & husband John of Bedford, IN. 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Ledford will be conducted on Friday, February, 03, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Barnard & Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
