Edna Crabtree

Mrs. Edna Crabtree age 77, of Rockhold passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009 in the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was the widow of Alfred Crabtree and the daughter of the late Bill & Florence Mills of Knox County born to them on December 4th, 1931.
Mrs. Crabtree was of the Pentecostal faith, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, talking on the phone, listening to gospel music, and just being outside on her front porch swing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bill & Florence Mills, her husband Alfred Crabtree, one daughter Ramona Kay Reeves, two brothers Robert Mills, and Anthony Mills, and two sisters Ramona Helton, and Mary Mills.
Survivors include two sons Michael Crabtree of Rockhold, KY, Ray Sibert and fiancé Vanessa of Fort Campbell, KY, two daughters Sue Yother & husband Darryl of Barbourville, KY and Patti Crabtree of Birmingham, Alabama, twelve grandchildren Mike, Tray, Whitney, Julie, Scott, Rodney, Travis, Dustin, Bridgett, Lorie, Rodney Allen, and David and two great grandchildren Tyler and Collin. Mrs. Crabtree also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crabtree will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at 1:00p.m. with Rev. Terry Broughton & Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Crabtree Cemetery at Rockhold, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
