Eddie Alvin Mays

Mr. Eddie Alvin Mays, age 71, of Heidrick, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.  He was the son of Charles and Meck (Payne) Mays, born to them on April 25, 1947 in Heidrick, Kentucky.  Eddie was a member of the Baptist faith.  He was a factory worker and loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Mays and brother Charles Mays, Jr.

Left behind to mourn his passing are loving wife Sally (Klusendorf) Mays, mother Meck (Payne) Mays, sons James Kirkum of Mio, Michigan, Brian Kirkum and wife Ashley of Mio, Michigan six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and brother Paul Rickey Mays of Heidrick, Kentucky. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie Alvin Mays will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home.  Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
