Douglas Wayne Sizemore

Mr. Douglas Wayne Sizemore, age 59 of Flat Lick, departed this life on Thursday, July 25, 2024 in the Barbourville Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 28, 1965 in Pineville, Kentucky the son of Robert and Margaret Louise (Peace) Sizemore. Douglas had been a truck driver and enjoyed riding his four-wheeler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Sizemore and two brothers, Willie Ray Sizemore and Farmer Edward Sizemore.

Left behind to mourn his passing, seven brothers and sisters, Mae Darnell of Corbin, Barbara McQueen of London, Peggy Alice Pruett of Cumming, Georgia, Debbie Smith of Bimble, Kentucky, Lisa Melendez of Flat Lick, Larry Sizemore and wife Ollie of Flat Lick and Roger Sizemore of Gray, Kentucky. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

A graveside service for Mr. Sizemore will be conducted on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sizemore Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sizemore officiating. Family & friends will meet at the funeral home on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
