Mr. Douglas Riley, age 73, of Cannon, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, February 8, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospice Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of Clarence and Wittie Swafford Riley, born to them on April 19, 1945 in Barbourville, Kentucky, and the husband of Imogene Mills Riley. Douglas was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Wittie Swafford Riley, and sister Christalene Gambrel.
Left behind to mourn his passing are his loving wife Imogene Mills Riley of Cannon, Kentucky, daughter Shelia Fisher and very special son-in-law Timothy Fisher of Cannon, Kentucky, granddaughter Lora Beth Warren and husband Travis and great grandchild Ezekiel Kent Warren, brothers Donald Riley of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Ronald Riley and wife Jessie of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Reed Riley and wife Anita of Girdler, Kentucky, and sister Irene Vaughn and husband Kenneth of Barbourville, Kentucky. He is also survived by many relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Riley will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Barnard officiating. Burial will follow in the Nan Riley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leroy Mills, Ernie Mills, Rod Riley, Ricky Trent, Austin Fisher and Jacob Fisher.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
