Mrs. Dorothy Reeves, age 89 of Pocola, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Pocola.
She was born on April 25, 1918 in Knox Co., KY to Grover Jackson and Emma (Hurst) Jackson. She is the widow of Charles Benjamin Kelly and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Emma Jackson, her husband Charles, five brothers, Clint, Charles, Lilburn, Arnold and Kenneth, three sisters, Lois Burnett, Mable Blackaby and Delcie Roberts. Mrs. Reeves is survived by a son, Vaughn Kelley and wife Shirley, a grandson, Charles Kelley and wife Amanda, two great grandchildren Franciska and Nihko Kelley, all of Pocola, Oklahoma, a brother, Elmer Jackson of Taylor Mills, KY, a sister Irene Caldwell of Florence, KY and many more beloved family and friends. Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Reeves will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Jackson Garland Cemetery at Cannon, Ky. with Rev. Bobby Lawson Officiating.
