Dorothy Jordon

Dorothy Mary “Dot” Jordon age 64 of Dewitt passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born on March 7, 1946 at Dewitt, Ky to George “Hoot” Jordon and Tressie Bargo Jordon who preceded her in death. Dorothy loved religious music, Sewing, growing flowers and tomatoes.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers: R.J. Jordan and Terry “Cotton” Jordon and by one sister: Lillie Rose Jordon.

Survivors include one brother: Arvil Jordon of Corbin, KY three sisters: Nina Mills and husband Lewis of Corbin, KY, Wilma Caudill of Heidrick, KY , Laquata Gosney and husband Carl of Lexington, KY. Two sister in laws: Lydia Bell Jordon and Sharon Walker and a very special friend Nellie Williams. She is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Dorothy Mary “Dot” Jordon will be conducted on Tuesday September 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton funeral home Chapel with Jim Bargo officiating. Burial will follow in the Levi Bargo Cemetery at Salt Gum with Cousins and Nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be all Friends and Family. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

The family will receive friends at Hampton funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
