Dorothea Lang

Mrs. Dorothea (Henson) Lang, age 93 of Okolona, KY formerly of Barbourville passed away Tuesday-September 16, 2008 in the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Louisville. She was born on May 17, 1915 the daughter of Daw Henson, Sr. and Sallie (Martin) Henson and was the wife of the late Willard Lang, Sr. Dorothy was a member of the Gospel Home Mission House of Prayer. Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her husband Willard Lang, Sr., two children Dennis Parmley Lang and Cathy June Lang three grandchildren, Sabrina Lang, Marianne Lang and Paul Douglas Hayes, one brother, Daw Henson, Jr. and three sisters, Hazel Broughton, Mae Henson and Lois Henson.

Those left behind to mourn her passing are her seven children, Phyllis Harris, Kitty Loncar, Williard Lang, Jr., Steve Lang, Rodney Lang, Darrell Lang and Mitzi Pittman, one sister, Doris Rice, one brother Langdon Henson, 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lang also leaves behind a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Lang will be conducted on Saturday September 20, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Pallbearers will be Family of Mrs. Lang. Burial will follow in the Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements. Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 3:30 p.m. There will also be visitation on Friday evening at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home in Louisville from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
