Ms. Doris Liford age 77, of Hinkle, Ky. she was born April 18, 1929 in Knox County to the late Lewis Jones and Nora Hubbard. Doris passed away December 2, 200 in the Pineville Community Hospital In Pineville, Ky.
Ms. Liford was a member of the Hedrick Holiness Church. She loved gardening, sewing, and Quilting.
In addition to her parent’s she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Liford a daughter Norma Ruth Wright, two brothers; Clifton Jones and Howard Jones, and three sisters; Velva Price, Margarette Stewart and Mary Jones
Survivors include one son Estile Liford of Hinkle, KY two daughters; Wanda Baker and her companion Estile Taylor of Florence, KY and Barbara Liford of Hinkle, one brother Denver Jones and wife Ruth of Hamilton, Ohio two sisters; Barbara Edith Morris and husband Winford of Fayetteville, NC and Beulah Gambrel of Hinkle, KY, two grandchildren; Morris Liford and wife Debra of Dry Ridge, KY and John Broughton and wife Tonya of Corinth, KY three great-grandchildren Nicole Liford, Cyndall Broughton, Madison Liford and one step-grandson Ronnie Wright and wife Blanche of Hebron, KY
Funeral services for Ms. Liford will be conducted Tuesday December 5th, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Tommy Frazier andRev. Vernon Morris,Rev. Brian Miracle officiating, burial will follow in the Price Cemetery at Hinkle, Ky. pallbearers will be Don Martin, Sam Creasy, Gary Price, Terry Price, Mike Morris, Vernon Liford, Ed Arthur Rice, Roger Liford, and Johnny Gambrel. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jerry Woolum, Ronnie Morris, Steve Price, Lowell Callebs, Bobby Smith, Estile Taylor, and the staff of Pineville Community Hospital
