Mrs. Dora Jean Lane, age 59 of Barbourville, Ky. passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital in Barbourville, Ky. She was the Daughter of Henry Williams and Anna Dee Partin Williams born to them on December 10, 1947 in Bell Co., KY. Mrs. Patterson believed in the Baptist Faith and was a member of the grays Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 14 years. Mrs. Lane served the lord all her life and was a homemaker..
Survivors include: Her husband, Alfred Lane, Jr. of Barbourville, Ky. Two Daughters, DawnBroughton of Barbourville, Ky. and Angie Lane of Cassopolis, Michigan. Four Brother Claiborne Williams, Wendall Williams and wife Pam, Alva Williams and wife Karen and Bill Williams all of Barbouville, Ky. Two Sisters Betty Jo Reynolds and husband L.A. and Tincy Kendall both of Barbourville, Ky. Two Grandchildren Ashley Shore and Caleb Broughton . Mrs. Lane also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Dorothy Abner and Arlene Williams. Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Jean Lane will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell Warren officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Lane will be laid to rest in the Hembree-McDonald Cemetery at Heidrick, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
