Mr. Donnie Junior Bargo age 57 of Barbourville, departed this life on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in the UK Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. He was the husband of Lena (Carnes) Bargo and the son of John Junior Bargo and Cleo (Mills) Bargo. He was born on August 12, 1957 in Pineville, KY and was a logger. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Annie Path Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Royce Wayne Bargo and Russell Bargo along with one sister, Joy Etta Perkins.
Those left behind to mourn his passing are his wife Lena (Carnes) Bargo of Barbourville, two sons, Steven Dewayne Bargo and Sherry of Manchester and Dalton Joseph Bargo of Barbourville, three daughters, Donna Jenel Woolum and husband Wayne of Gray, Stephanie Joy Gilbert and husband Scott of Barbourville and Tabitha Faye Bargo of London, five sisters, Bonnie Bailey, Geraldine Hoskins and husband Billy all of Corbin, Sandra Kay Carnes and husband Ellis of Barbourville and Karen Louise Mills and husband Gary of Girdler and Patricia Smith and husband Dennis of Barbourville, six grandchildren, Laken Woolum, Lexi Woolum, Allison Bargo, Dakota Stevens, Rachelle Gilbert and Conner Grimes, eleven nephews and two nieces along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the Markey Cancer Center and the Daniel Boone Family Health Care Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Bargo will be conducted in the Hampton
Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Columbus Hensley, Rev. Mitchell Ball and friend Neth Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Hart, Chris Hoskins, Adam Hoskins, Frank Marion, Blaine Mills, Ellis Carnes, Charles Carnes, Gary Mills, Gary Perkins and Jeff Perkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Kurt Merida, Donald Mills, Monty Hart, Tommy Bailey, Bobby Bailey, Josh Smith and Billy Hoskins. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Hampton Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
