Diana Marcum
d. January 20, 1947
She was the wife of Ralph Marcum and the daughter of Oliver Grady Tyler and Mable (McCain) Tyler born to them on January 20, 1947 in Jefferson Co., Alabama. Mrs. Marcum believed in the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Her parents precede her in death.
Mrs. Marcum is survived by her husband Ralph Marcum of Barbourville, Ky., one daughter: Lena Curry and husband Anthony of Clay Co. KY., and three step daughters Victoria Lynn Marcum of South Carolina, Debra Ann Boggs of Covington, KY, Wanda Lee Messer of Coco Beach, FLA. One son: David Andrew Marcum of Clay Co, KY., two step sons: Ralph Marcum, Jr. and wife Janie of Barbourville, KY and James Robertson and wife Rae of Anderson, SC. One sister: Joan Wombles of Gainesville, FLA., One brother Dell Tyler of Indiana. Mrs. Marcum also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren in addition to a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marcum will be conducted Tuesday-March 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Old Flat Lick Baptist Church with Rev. Alonzo Messer officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
