Dewey Partin

Mr. Dewey Partin age 71 of Trosper, Ky. passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was the son of the late Arthur and Gussie Lee Partin. Dewey was a member of Warren Baptist church and a former transformer builder with Rural Electric Company. In addition to his parents Dewey was also preceded in death by his first wife Alma Partin. Later in life he united in marriage to Shalma Partin who also precedes him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son Arthur Alexander Partin, a daughter Patricia Ann Partin, a brother Kenny Bill Partin, a sister Rosie Vanover and a grandson Mark Anthony Hart.
Survivors include a son Dewey Ray Partin and Jacqueline of Louisville, Ky, one daughter Teresa Gail Hart and husband Mark of Louisville, Ky, two grandchildren Jonathan Partin of Louisville, Ky and Patricia Baker of Lexington, Ky and three great grandchildren Damian Partin of Louisville, Ky, Shyanna and Dalton Baker both of Lexington, Ky.
Services for Dewey Partin will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm with the Rev Jimmy Wayne Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Coon branch cemetery at Trosper. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
The Partin family will receive friends on Monday May 12, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service at 1:00 pm at the Hampton Funeral Home.
