Denver Smith

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Smith was a member of Horn Branch Baptist Church during his life he
worked at strip mines he was a mechanic and also worked at Western Auto
in Barbourville he loved talking on C.B.’s where he was known as “Slow
Motion”.
Survivors include his wife of over fifty two years Anna Mae Smith of
Barbourville, Ky.; five sons Lonnie Smith and wife Pat of Barbourville,
Ky.; Earnie Smith and Wife Sharon of Cannon, Ky.; Doyle Smith and wife
Joan of Barbourville, Ky.; Denver Smith Jr. and wife Darlene of
Barbourville, Ky.; Denver Bunch of Gray, Ky; three daughters Sue Cox
and Husband Garfield of Cannon, Ky.; Penny Gray and husband Darrell of
Cannon, Ky.; and Melinda Jean Crawford of London, Ky. One Brother R.D.
Smith and wife Geneva of Fount, Ky.; two sisters Gladys Smith and
husband Abe of Cannon, Ky.; Sally Warf and husband Sonny of Virginia.
One special friend Nick Hinkle. Twenty- seven grandchildren and twenty
great-grandchildren. Mr. Smith is also survived by Many other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Denver Smith will be conducted Tuesday,
January 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Ricky Broughton and Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating burial will
follow in the Bingham Cemetery at Cannon, Ky. Pallbearers will be
Family and Friends Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. West, Dr. Pederson and
the Staff at the Knox County Hospital.

am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until the Funeral Hour at
2:00 pm
