Mr.D.C. Jones age 77of Barbourville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2010 at his home. He was the son of Charlie & Lillie (North) Jones and was born to them on November 14th, 1932 in Bell Co., KY. Mr. Jones believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed listening to country music and being with his family & friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Kelly Jones, Murphy Jones and Jim Frank Jones, and one sister Sudie Brown.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Della Brown of Barbourville, one son Noah Jones of Barbourville, three step-daughters Pam Brown of Trosper, Kathy Wintek & husband Tom of Frankfort, and Debbie Hunt of New Albany, Indiana, one sister Lucille Jordan of Lima, Ohio, seven step-grandchildren and five step- great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted on Wednesday- June 30th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Shaffer officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Tad Goodin Cemetery at Pineville, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
