David Simmons

Mr. David Lee Simmons age 66 of Barbourville, KY departed this life on Sunday August 29, 2010 in the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was the husband of Debbie Brown Simmons and the son of Raymond Earl Simmons and Christine Kenslo Simmons. He was born on June 28, 1944 in Warren Co., KY. Mr. Simmons loved to fish and hunt, work on cars and make everyone laugh. He was loved by everyone.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Simmons of Barbourville, three sons, David Earl Simmons of Bowling Green, Michael Simmons and wife Marilyn also of Bowling Green and Ford Lee Simmons and wife Carla of Barbourville, two daughters, Penny Marie Stanton of Bowling Green and Lacie Kaye Brown and husband Dickie of Barbourville, one sister, Joyce Carrier and husband Leo of Bowing Green, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Simmons also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. David Simmons will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cole, Bleve Brown, Kenny Davis, Marty Carrier, Jesse Frank and Dan Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Friends & family. Burial will be in the Ford Brown Family Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
