David Garrison

Mr. David Linley Garrison age 43 of Woolum, KY passed away on Friday – April 16, 2010 at the University of Tennessee Hospital due to an automobile accident. He was the son of Bobby Garrison and Nettie Owens born to them on December 15th, 1966. Mr. Garrison was a former Truck Driver and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed playing his guitar in church, writing songs, fishing and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Dave Edwards, and Leonard & Virdie Garrison, an aunt & uncle Geraldine Garrison & Arnold Isom, two cousins Tommy Lee Smith, and Joey Lee Edwards.
Left behind to mourn his passing his fiancé Pam Frady of Middlesboro, KY, his parents Bobby Garrison & his wife Brenda of Woolum, KY, and Nettie Owens & husband Jack of Hinkle, KY, and his Grandmother Sallie McVey of Gray, KY, five brothers Burnid Smith of Harrogate, TN, Justin Owens of Hinkle, KY, Bobby Lynn Garrison & wife Kristie of Corbin, KY, Dustin Garrison of Woolum, KY and James ( Jim Bob) Garrison of Rockhold, KY. Two sisters Shannon Sprouls & husband John of Pineville, KY, and Shawna Kay Moser & husband Mark of Woolum KY. A special uncle Richard Edwards, plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Garrison will be conducted on Monday-April 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Owen Smith & Rev. Mickey Smith Officiating. Pallbears will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Pittman/Garrison Cemetery at Woolum. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
