Mrs. Darlene Brock , age 49 of Hinkle, KY departed this life on Saturday, February 07,2009 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Esco & Maudie Mills born to them on April 9, 1959. Darlene was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and working. She had previously been an employee of Warner Brothers for 20 years has worked at Brother’s market for 8 years, and was currently employed at CSC Data Trac. She is preceded in death by her parents Esco & Maudie Mills, her father in-law Woodson Brock Jr. a brother in-law Billy Joe Brock and a niece Kristy Brock.
Survivors include, her husband Donald Brock, one son Tony Brock, one daughter Dayna Reyna Hyatt & husband Todd, all of Hinkle, KY, three brothers W.H. Mills & wife Mary of Barbourville, KY, David Mills & wife Monica of Bimble, KY, BoBo Mills & wife Amy of Boone Height, KY, two sisters Helen Faye Messer & husband Floyd of Girdler, KY and Karen Taylor & husband Ike of Somerset, KY, two grandchildren, Hayden Hyatt, and Nathan Hyatt and eleven nieces and nephews, her mother in-law Eller Brock and one brother in-law Ronald Brock both of Hinkle, KY. Darlene also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Darlene Brock will be conducted on Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Owen Smith & Rev. Tip Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, Shawn Brock, Jerry Grubb, Dexter Messer, Tip Smith and Ike Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Brother’s Market, and the Employees of CSC Data Trac. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
