Danny Mills

Mr. Danny Dewayne Mills age 40, of Barbourville, KY passed away Sunday in the Woodbridge Hospital in TN. He was the husband of Audrey (McVey) Mills and the son of Danny & Ludena Mills born to them on December 31, 1968 in Knox County.
Danny joined the Marine Corps and was an active member from 1986 – 1990 and was an active member of the National Guards 149th Infantry Kentucky Mountain Warriors. He also served a tour in Iraq in 2006.
Danny enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving his mustang, and being with his wife and kids and family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents William & Ruby Smith, and Ed & Myrtle Mills.
Survivors include, his wife of 18 years, Audrey Mills, three sons Coty Mills, David Mills & Daniel Mills, three daughters Redosha McVey, Christina Mills & Shannoa Mills, two grandsons Zackery Jordan & Payton Gambrel and one granddaughter Aleigh Jordan all of Barbourville, special friends Clinton & Vicky Hobbs, Cobie & Rhonda Hobbs, Gordon Hobbs, Carol Fuson, Greg & Betty Logan, Jan Hobbs, and Sonya Gray. Danny also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Danny Mills will be conducted on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson and Rev. A. B. Smallwood officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Hobbs, Steve Roark, Rusty Toothman, Junior Jackson, David Foster, and Cobie Hobbs. Danny will be laid to rest in the Hobbs Cemetery at Barbourville. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
