Mr. Danny Russell Mills age 66 of Himyar, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2015 at his home. He was the son of Arvil and Mattie Pillion Mills, born to them on December 4, 1948 in Barbourville, Kentucky. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Haskell T. Mills and Ronnie J. Mills; Three sisters: Betty Jean Baker, Peggy Ann Frederick and Brenda K. Mills.
Danny is survived by two loving sisters: Elaine Hensley of Himyar, Kentucky and Debra Reel and husband Robert of Barbourville, Kentucky and many special nieces and nephews left behind to mourn his passing.
Graveside services for Mr. Danny Russell Mills will be conducted on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Mills Cemetery in Artemus with Rev. Michael Collins and Rev. Haskle James Mills officiating. Danny's special nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Fugate and the Knox County Ambulance service, and many special friends.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, 2015 after 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Monday after 12:00 P.M. until the departure to the cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
