Mr. Damon Troutman, age 83 of Hilliard, Ohio passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 in the Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was the husband of Francine (Lake) Troutman and the son of Adrian Howard Troutman and Rosa Hannah (Blankenship) Troutman born to them on January 7, 1924 in Harlan Co., KY. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching football games and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ray & Cecil Troutman and two sisters Lucy Wilson and Ethel Foley.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Francine Lake Troutman of Hilliard, Ohio, one son, Charles Ray Troutman and wife Shelby of Barbourville, KY, two daughters, Carol Taylor and husband Bruce and Susan Osborne all of Hilliard, Ohio. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Damon Troutman will be conducted on Saturday November 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be, Charles Vern Troutman, Frank Taylor, Scott Troutman, Alex Poindexter, Terry Poindexter and Stephen Stamper, Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joe & Dan Taylor. Burial will be in the Prichard Cemetery at Mackey Bend. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
