Clyde Jones

Mr. Clyde Ray Jones age 53 of Woolum, KY departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his home. He was born on January 23, 1956 in Knox Co. to Charlie and Dora Caldwell Jones. Mr. Jones was a retired truck driver. He believed in the Baptist faith. He loved basketball, horseshoes, softball and auctions. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Dora Jones.

Left behind to mourn his passing, two sisters, Charlene Shiflett of Orlando, FL and Ruth Ann Patterson and husband Paul of Cranes Nest, nine brothers, Raymond Jones and wife Ellen of Greenroad, Tom Jones and wife Drema of Hamilton, OH, Hugh Jones and wife Shirley of Heidrick, Harold Gene Jones and wife Donna of Cincinnati, OH, Gary Jones and wife Liz and Henry Jones and wife Janie all of Hamilton, OH, Mike Jones and wife Teresa of Corbin, Harry Jones and wife Marlene of Greenroad and Terry Jones and wife Marily of Columbus, OH. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Jones will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alonzo Messer and Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Mr. Jones will be laid to rest in the Jones Cemetery at Woolum, KY. Hampton Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
