Mrs. Cleo Gray age 89 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Tuesday, April 06, 2010 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was born on January 24, 1921 in Knox County
To the union of Jim and Laura Bell Smith Mills. She was united in marriage to Enas Gray. She was a Homemaker, believed in the Holiness faith, loved to Garden and Quilt.
She was preceded in death by her husband Enas Gray, her parents Jim and Laura Bell Smith Mills, two brothers: Lloyd and Chris Mills and six sisters: Julie Gray, Florie Garrison, Odie Riley, Ella Mae Begley, Norene Edwards and Minnie Brock.
Survivors include two sons Clinton Gray and wife Zella, Clayton Gray and wife Lula all of Girdler, KY, three daughters Brenda Gray of Corbin, Ann Bruner of London, Wanda Hollin and husband Ed of London. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will conducted on Friday April 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Frazier and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilbert Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Travis Gaskin, Rodney Gray, Michael Gray and Justin Honeycutt.
The family of Cleo Gray will receive friends at Hampton funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
