Mrs. Cleo Bargo age 81of Barbourville passed away Saturday in the Knox county Hospital. She was the widow of John Bargo, Jr. and the daughter of the late Lloyd & Martha Mills born to them on May 11th, 1929.

Cleo was a homemaker and a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church, she enjoyed gardening, loved babies and her grandchildren, and she liked to can, quilt and sew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd & Martha Mills, two sons Russell Bargo, and Royce Wayne Bargo and one daughter Joy Etta Perkins. One brother V.A. Mills ,two sisters Nancy Carmack, and Goldie Mills.

Survivors include one son Donnie Bargo and wife Lena of Barbourville, KY ,five daughters Bonnie Bailey of Corbin,KY, Geraldine Hoskins and husband Billy of Corbin,KY, Kay Carnes and husband Ellis of Barbourville,KY, Karen Mills and husband Gary of Girdler,KY, and Patricia Smith and husband Dennis of Barbourville, KY. Eighteen grandchildren and twelve Great grandchildren. Plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cleo Bargo will be conducted on Wednesday – February 16th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Morris & Rev. Kennon Roark officiating. Pallbearers will be Ellis Carnes, Gary Mills, Chris Hoskins, Adam Hoskins, Billy Hoskins, Mark Hart, Bobby Bailey, and Steven Bargo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffery Perkins, Monty Hart, Tommy Bailey, Josh Smith, Dennis Smith, Terry Mills, and Dalton Bargo.Burial will follow in the Levi Bargo Cemetery at Scalf. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Hme on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
