Mrs. Cledia Ethel Mills of Rockholds passed away Sunday at the Baptist regional medical in Corbin. She was born on June 20, 1925 in Knox County to Jim and Nannie Ann Powell Miller who preceded her in death. She was the widow of the late Charles Mills. She was a Homemaker and a member of Southeastern Baptist Church. Mrs. Mills Loved Flowers, hunt Ginseng, watching WLJC and any kind of work.
Besides he husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son: Kenneth Gibson, six Brothers Everett, Charles, Roy, Jimmy, Richard and Wiley Miller. Three sisters: Leona McKee, Sylvia Miller and Samantha Smith.
Survivors include one brother Millard (John) Miller and wife Sue of Williamsburg, One Sister: Verdia F. Smith and husband Eugene of Goose Island, Michigan. She is also survived by Six Grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cledia Mills will be conducted on Friday December 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Trosper-Jackson Cemetery with Charles Williams, Kenneth Gibson, Timothy Gibson, Johnny Melton, Daniel Nance and Josh Melton serving as Pallbearers. Hampton Funeral home is in charge of all the arrangements.
The Family will receive friends at Hampton funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
