Clark Sizemore

Mr. Clark Sizemore, age 82 of Flat Lick, KY passed away on Friday, December 07, 2007 in the Pineville Community Hospital. He was the widower of the late Sybil Patterson Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore was born March 15, 1925 to David Sizemore and Louisa Hubbard in Knox Co. Mr. Sizemore was a coalminer, a heavy equipment operator for Plastic’s, and a janitor for the Knox county School system. Mr. Sizemore believed in the Baptist faith, and was a member of the Horn Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Sizemore was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, two sons Donnie Sizemore, Danny Sizemore, four brothers Jess, Dewey, Clarence, and Edd Sizemore, four Sisters Gracie Brown, Lauria North, Polly Roark, Linda Furrow.
Survivors include: three sons Evie Sizemore and wife Sandra of Dayton, Ohio., J.C. Sizemore and wife Debbie of Dayton, Ohio., Bill Sizemore and wife Barbara of Flat Lick, Ky., three daughters Anna & husband Homer Green of Grays, Ky., Wilma Sizemore of Barbourville, Ky., Joyce Sizemore of Flat Lick, Ky., eleven grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren in addition to a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr.Sizemore will be conducted on Monday 10th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in The Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Pallbearers will Be Justin Sizemore, Homer Green, Curt Gambrel, Jessie Jaynes, Sammie Carnes, Mike Corey. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Knox Co. Home Health staff, Knox Co. EMS, The staff of Pineville Community Hospital, Dr. Hays, Dr. Morgan. Burial will follow in t he Polly Warren Cemetery at Big Creek. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
