Chester Price

Mr. Chester Price, age 79, departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2014 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Henry and Gusta (Messer) Price, born to them on December 23, 1935 in Barbourville, Kentucky. Chester worked in the construction business and was of the Baptist Faith.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Erma and two brothers Wendall and Adrien Price.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Laura Miles (Jim) of Flat Lick; brothers, Harold (Donnie) Price of Hamilton, Ohio; Glendale (Letha) Price of Indiana; Jim (Lois) Price of London, Kentucky; Charles (Melva) Price of Fairfield, Ohio and one granddaughter, Sarah Miles of Flat Lick, Kentucky. Chester also leaves behind a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Chester Price will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Dennis Chestnut and Rev. Josh Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 after 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Monday after 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 12:00 noon.
